I love, love, love Simple Mills products! All of their products are gluten-free AND corn-free! It is very difficult to find corn-free baking mixes or breads. (There are several brands and varieties of corn-free crackers though.) The sad fact is that almost all of the corn-free gluten-free breads sold are thick, heavy, and flavorless. A lot of them taste like saw dust. Some come frozen, others in small refrigerated batches that can only be used for a week ónce opened from their airtight containers. BUT, with a mix, and changing a few steps while baking (like whipping the egg whites and folding them on at the end and/or adding a little corn-free Haines baking powder) you can achieve bread that is light and fluffy like gluten containing bread. And this pumpkin flavor is tasty! I hope that Simple Mills adds other muffin flavors soon! I would like to see an apple variety or a cranberry orange variety. And a sandwich bread mix would be great too! All I can say is Simple Mills is one of the best brands of corn-free gluten-free products out there! If you have a corn allergy, you have got to try this muffin mix. . . Or at least one of their other products.Great pumpkin flavor. I added walnuts to the batter. Moist and healthyWas surprised how good they taste. a great fine.This was so easy! I love pumpkin bread, but home made is more time consuming and a bigger mess to make. This was not quite as good as homemade, but I will buy again, as it is so easy without a big mess!A bit pricy, but fantastic flavor and quality !They are very tasty. Kind of expensive because the muffins are small.Ordered bc can’t find pumpkin now and my daughter LOVES these. Boxes that came were expired by nearly a year!It is SO hard to get my son to eat anything outside of snack foods and dry cereal as he is supremely picky about what he eats. I do my best to provide healthy, whole foods or minimally processed foods for my family and was delighted when I tried this muffin mix from the store recently and my son LOVES them (both Pumpkin and Banana)! The only problem is they are $8 in the store so I was even more delighted when I found out I could get them for about half that on Amazon subscription! This mix couldn't be easier to make (just add water, a few eggs and 1/3 C of your choice of oil (I have tried EVOO, macadamia nut and avocado oils and have found that my favorite flavor profile is macadamia nut or EVOO or half and half - avocado oil doesn't work or taste as good with these - just trust me), the muffins are so yummy and I love that they use a minimal, almond flour based ingredient list. The only thing that would make them better in my opinion is if they ditched the sugar and instead used Stevia or Monkfruit as sweetener. If they made a version with no added sugar it would be a home run for me! I actually add a couple tablespoons of monkfruit to the mix and think it tastes even better that way. I also like to add a few Lily’s chocolate chips to put them over the top taste wise. However, if you’re going to do that, my advice is to bake them for 5-10 minutes FIRST and then add the chips. If you add them before baking at all, they will sink to the bottom of the muffin pan.Even still, I love this mix as it is and I love that I can get it so much cheaper on Amazon than in the store! This will be part of my monthly order from now on!I sincerely hope this review has been helpful to someone else! And yes, I paid full price for this. Feel free to ask any questions!I used these for snacks! While everyone else is stuffing donuts in their mouth I was able to stay dairy and gluten free . I added a bit more cinnamon and some raisins. Delicious.
