Considering it shipped free it was a steal. Liked that slices were thicker than other breads I’ve bought so the sandwiches stayed together. Could taste the molasses. Really really great bread.Ukrainian wife says Yes! And it exceeded my expectations too! Cut each loaf in half and froze it. Will be buying again.It's a heavy flavorful black bread and if this isn't your thing, you probably won't like it. My first impression was of licorice because of the black color and molasses aroma. If you don't like this, don't buy it. I was looking for a good bread to make kvas for the summer so I can also enjoy Okroshka. Cold kvas soup. Very refreshing on hot days. I live in Nevada and don't know of any west coast markets that will ship this type of bread. It arrived very quickly and smelled so good that I had to buy lunch meats and cheese to make wonderful sandwiches. My kvas was spectacular, although I would like a second opinion from someone other than myself who enjoys the taste of kvas. P.S. I have been buying this bread for two summers now. I love it. *****Good tasting bread, little high priced.Delicious bread, warm and filling. Toasted with butter one piece will give you the A.M. carbs you need to get going in the morning. Place one loaf to eat and freeze the other three. A nod to the north pole.I ordered this for a themed table and this is the closest to what we get in Russia, called Djita. In fact a native born Russian/Ukrainian said that 'this is the real thing'. So if you're hungry for a taste of 'black' bread I would highly recommend. If you're hesitating because this is too much bread, it will freeze.Too much gluten and molasses. Sweet and sticky. Not the same quality, as I know this bread from my homeland, under the same name. Overpriced. When I complained,I was asked to send picture.Does anybody knows how to make photos for the taste?Delicious but too much malases
