Sixteen short years ago, I adopted my son from Russia. It has been a joy seeing him grow and mature. We have had a blast learning about Russian history, social mores, culture, etc. He's a great cook, and loves cooking ethnic foods. He'd read about Kvass and decided he wanted to begin fermenting it at home. Thought I'd better let him taste it first to see if he wanted to go to the trouble. WHOA! He loves it!
