Really like these little cheese balls. They are so good. I use the whole cup of cheese like cheddar or parm. Ummm.....The baked results are very tasty unlike many other gluten free brands.I was given 2 boxes of this mix for Christmas. I ordered more because they are so delicious. Easy to mske snd reheat well in the microwave.I LOVE this brand and the 8-pack is a great deal. I made the cheese rolls exactly as written the first time I used it and could not have been more pleased with the results. Since then I've used it as pizza crust and was very pleased as well (Kroger sells Chebe pizza crust mix for nearly $5 a box!). I made the dough mix the same as normal (without cheese) and added oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper then rolled it out between 2 sheets of parchment paper to my desired thickness (the dough is sticky, the parchment is a must). Place on your favorite pizza pan, use a fork to prick holes all over and pre-bake at 450 F for about 7-8 mins. Brush with olive oil and add your pizza toppings then back in the oven for another 7-8 mins. The brand website has more recipe ideas.Calling all Silly Yaks! This is a tremendous product. The biggest problem I have is keeping them (cheese balls) around. I typically make a hearty soup or stew, and mix up a batch of cheese balls to go with. *POOF* ...before it's even time to serve, several always seem to grow legs and walk away.If you use this as a pizza crust, my trick: place dough into non-stick skillet (I place a little olive oil in the pan first) and form up sides (I use a curved-side Calphalon saute' pan. ) in the oven and bake for about ten minutes. Take out of oven, place cheese, meats, veggies and tomato or sauce on top. Bake again until cheese is bubbly and golden or until cooked to your taste. I do not remove pie from pan, but use sheers to cut a wedge out and serve with a pie spatula.Be creative! chebe makes incredible bread sticks, flatbread, pie crust, hot dog wraps, dot dot dot. I love it's chewy texture.(...as an aside: if you have Celiac and incorporate a bit of dairy into your diet, for some reason, white cheese seems to digest better???? Maybe it's the color in yellow cheese, but if I use white Cheddar I don't have issues later.)If you love Brazilian cheese puffs this is what you’re looking for right here. Your ‘pão de queijo’ will be delicious whether you go by their recipe or adapt to your own. I have used cheddar, mozzarella and parmesan cheese. You can also use this flour to make the blender recipe: 1 cup of flour, 1 cup of cheese (1/2mozz, 1/2 parmesan), 1 egg, 1/2 cup of milk, 1/4 cup of oil... blend it all, add more milk if needed, spray then pour in small cupcake pan, no need for paper cupcakes. Bake for 20-25min...yum!Seriously, these are awesome! So hard to find a quality GF bread. I'm excited now to try their other products! I've made these 3 times - and they are super easy and have turned out great every time! The first 2 times I made them into balls as recommended. They were great. Tonight rather than making 16 balls, I made 4 larger buns so we could have them with burgers. And yes, they worked really (!) well! Even before we were GF, neither of us liked a lot of traditional buns because they are so much volume of bread. I shaped these like hamburger patties and they came out perfect. When sliced in half, they were substantial enough to adequately hold a burger together and had a nice outer crunch and inner softness. I will definitely make these again and again! Just ordered the pizza dough and regular bread dough too. Oh, and I gave my mom a box - she took them on a camping road trip and cooked them in her dutch oven. She said they turned out great!Chebe Bread mix is super easy to make and it is what I exclusively use for making gluten free pizza crust. I love that It requires a bit of kneading, which is reminiscent of my "real" bread making days, before my Celiac Disease Dx. The dough makes enough for two pizzas. We like our pizza thin crust, so I roll it out to fit my pizza stone. I usually roll some dried basil and dried oregano with a bit of garlic salt into the crust before I par-bake it for 5-8 minutes 375 degrees, though it is unnecessary to par-bake. Right from the oven, I smear it with tomato paste, then brush the edge with a little EVOO and sprinkle with garlic salt and shredded parmesan cheese. I then top with shredded mozzarella cheese, sliced bell peppers, and sliced baby bella mushrooms.. Sometimes I add pepperoni and/or browned ground beef. It bakes at 375 degrees for about 15 minutes, and comes out really delicious! To kick it up a notch I'll top it with Sriracha hot sauce. Yum-o!This is delicious! Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. My kids love them and I had friends over who also really enjoyed them. I’m thinking this can be my new potluck addition when going to parties. Super fast and simple to make. Worth it!!
